In a freak occurrence, the sweetest boy, Davey, says something terrible. His worried parents send him for counseling with a leading psychoanalyst. The psychoanalyst, on the verge of a major breakthrough uses him in his experiments. Davey’s Id takes over and tries to murder his Ego and Super-Ego. His mother melts. His father gets lost in a dream. Will Davey ever return to normal? Or will his Id succeed with its dark intentions?
Characters:
DAVEY – Male, in his early forties, however somehow he seems much younger
THERAPIST – Probably male, early sixties, eccentric, energetic and very excitable, somewhat of the mad scientist prototype
MOTHER – Female, early-to-mid-fifties, the cheeriest woman in the entire world
FATHER – Male, early-to-mid-fifties, the cheeriest man in the entire world
ID – Any age or gender, a pleasure-seeker, selfish self-indulgent sexual animal
EGO – Any age or gender, a completely rational being who tries to find a balance between the Id and Super-Ego
SUPER-EGO – Any age or gender, a strict personality with a powerful desire to set a good example and do the right thing. Obeys all laws and authority
SARAH – A young, vibrant woman, Davey’s girlfriend
BLUE COW – A dream creature
