Watching ACTORS!, audiences are given the chance to interact with professional Canadian actors in an honest way at an intimate setting. They get the opportunity to learn from the panel the ins and outs of living as an actor, concerns actors have and their reasons for persisting in a challenging industry. The actors will face the questions brought by audiences' perceptions of the theatre community and perhaps they will dispel some misconceptions. Simultaneously a scripted performance unfolds, though audiences are left guessing which part is truth and which part is fiction.

ACTORS! is produced by The Cheshire Unicorn. Launched in 2002, The Cheshire Unicorn aims to produce innovative, thoughtful, and experimental productions created by Canadian artists. Lead by Artistic Director Melissa Major , The Cheshire Unicorn has produced several critically acclaimed productions such as last year's hit dance piece Infinitum which was the Critic's Pick Now Magazine, as well as the multiple award-winning Art is a Cupboard which was produced internationally, The Saddest Girl in the World (acclaimed by Toronto Star), Unicorn Horns (5 out of 5 stars in Now Magazine, also produced internationally) and Even Burning (4 out of 4 stars from Eye Magazine).

Actors features a talented cast including the Dora-nominated Tim Walker ( Help Yourself!; Peer Gynt, Andromache) a second-city performer who is the Tim Sims award-winner for comedy and is featured in several recent TIFF films ( BODYMAX and A Pretty Funny Story), recently named as one of Now Magazine's Top 10 Theatre Performers, as well as triple threat Stephanie Seaton, hailed as a "promising newcomer" by the Torontoist ( Juliet in Romeo & Juliet, Hermia in Midsummer Night's Dream).
